Park Overview
The Lishui Economic and Technological Development Zone was established in 1993 and upgraded to a national-level economic and technological development zone in 2014. In 2019, the Lishui Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government took extraordinary measures to advance the zone’s “second phase of development,” completing a new round of integration and enhancement. This resulted in an organizational structure comprising “3 platforms + 8 departments + 5 centers + 1 subdistrict” and an overall framework driven by the dual engines of the “Management Committee and Group Corporation.”The zone covers an actual administrative area of 110 square kilometers, with a population of 186,000 and 370 enterprises above designated size.
In 2023, the zone achieved a regional GDP of 13.07 billion yuan, an increase of 8.8%, ranking first in the city in terms of growth rate. Industrial output value and industrial value-added of enterprises above designated size grew by 4.6% and 9.7%, respectively;Total industrial output value of enterprises above designated size reached 43.03 billion yuan, ranking first in the city for the first time; fixed-asset investment and industrial investment grew by 50.4% and 73.8%, respectively; total import and export volume increased by 91.5%, and R&D expenditure intensity hit a record high of 7%. Key economic indicators have consistently led the city, with GDP growth ranking first in the city for four consecutive years and the comprehensive performance evaluation receiving an “Excellent” rating for five consecutive years.
The Economic and Technological Development Zone serves as the main hub for industrial development. It has cultivated and formed leading industrial clusters in specialized semiconductors, precision manufacturing, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, fashion, and the digital economy, and has successively been recognized with honors such as Provincial “Chain Leader System” Outstanding Unit and Specialized Demonstration Unit, Provincial Specialized Industrial Cluster Collaboration Zone, Provincial Beautiful Park, and Provincial Chemical Industry Park. The distinctive semiconductor industry, cultivated from scratch, has been included in the provincial semiconductor industry development plan and successfully selected as part of the province’s fourth batch of “10,000 Mu, 100 Billion” new industry cultivation platforms, forming a development framework of “one park, one chain, and two bases.” During his inspection of the Economic and Technological Development Zone, Provincial Party Secretary Yi Lianhong noted that the park’s development fully demonstrates that, as long as one embraces the pioneering spirit of “building something from nothing,” even a revolutionary base area can attract and cultivate world-class enterprises.
