The Zhejiang Putuo Economic Development Zone is the first provincial-level economic development zone established in Zhoushan City, comprising five major sub-zones: Liuheng, Xiazhi, Shenjiamen, Donggang, and Zhanmao.The Putuo Marine Ecology Innovation Valley is located in the Zhanmao sub-district of the Putuo Economic Development Zone. It is currently a key industrial and economic platform under development, covering a total area of 8 square kilometers. Situated at the northeastern tip of Putuo Island in Zhoushan, it is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces the sea to the north, offering distinct natural ecological advantages. It is directly connected to Zhoushan’s central urban area and the island’s land, sea, and air transportation hubs, falling within the island’s one-hour transportation circle and located 13 kilometers from the Aviation Industrial Park.
