The Pingdingshan High-Tech Zone Innovation and Entrepreneurship Service Park provides enterprises with end-to-end services covering innovation system development, policy consultation, R&D expense consolidation, human resources, intellectual property, and industry-academia-research collaboration, helping companies establish innovation systems during their early growth stages. So far this year, the park has registered 41 national science and technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including 19 national high-tech enterprises (accounting for 46.3%) and 15 enterprises meeting the "four-above" criteria (accounting for 36.6%);5 provincial-level “Specialized, Refined, Unique, and Innovative” SMEs, accounting for 12.2%; 3 enterprises with provincial-level R&D platforms or institutions, accounting for 7.3%; R&D expenditure reached 32.967 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 46.32%; 366 intellectual property rights were held, a year-on-year increase of 18.87%; the total number of science and technology personnel was 293, accounting for 27.06% of the workforce, with 7 enterprises having over 60% of their staff in science and technology roles;Total tax payments amounted to 51.0236 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 32.16%. The innovation capabilities of national-level science and technology-based SMEs in the park continue to improve, their contribution to economic development continues to grow, and enterprise growth is gradually shifting from quantitative expansion to qualitative transformation. Strengthening the "Four-Science" standard science and technology-based SME cultivation pool will serve as a powerful support for fostering new growth momentum, enhancing enterprises’ independent innovation capabilities, and accelerating the construction of a first-class innovation ecosystem.
