The Suyancheng Environmental Protection Technology Park, formerly known as the Jiangsu Yancheng Environmental Protection Industrial Park, was established in April 2009. It has a planned total area of 50.53 square kilometers, bounded by Xinyang Port to the north, Shengli River to the south, the Coastal Expressway to the west, and the Daguo Canal in the Nangang Forest Belt to the east. Phase I covers an area of 26 square kilometers, with a 6.69-square-kilometer start-up zone.The park enjoys a superior geographical location, with the Coastal Expressway running along its western edge and Provincial Highway 331 passing through its territory. To the north lies the Xinyang Port, a Grade 5 waterway and Yancheng’s primary inland waterway, while Yancheng Airport is situated 5 kilometers to the west.Since its establishment, the Environmental Protection Technology City has firmly centered its efforts on the development goal of “internationally advanced and domestically first-class.” By actively seizing opportunities and striving with determination, it has forged a path of leapfrog development driven by technology and characterized by distinctive strengths. It has now become China’s environmental industry hub with the fastest growth rate, the largest concentration of leading enterprises, and the most distinctive industrial characteristics.
