The Shanxi Qingxu Economic Development Zone (formerly the Taiyuan Qingquanhu Economic and Technological Development Zone) is a provincial-level development zone approved by the Shanxi Provincial Government in January 2003 via Document No. 3 [2003] of the Jin Zheng Han.Established in 1992, the Taiyuan Qingquanhu Economic and Technological Development Zone is one of 15 development zones approved by the Shanxi Provincial Government. It is located 2 kilometers west of Qingxu, a satellite city of Taiyuan, adjacent to National Highway 307 and near the Dayun Expressway. The planned Qingyu Railway spur line will run directly through the zone.
