Industrial Park Introduction
Located at the heart of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Gu'an Satellite Navigation Industrial Park leverages the robust resources of the Beijing area in satellite navigation technology R&D and industrial innovation, capitalizes on its prime geographical location and transportation advantages, and draws on the aerospace sector toand fully capitalizing on the development opportunities presented by the BeiDou industry, the park aims to establish a comprehensive satellite navigation and location services industrial cluster. This cluster will be market-driven, supported by public design and manufacturing platforms as well as testing and certification centers, and anchored by leading enterprises specializing in core chips, various terminals, navigation data platform development, and system operation services. It will serve as a satellite navigation industry development and demonstration base integrating fundamental navigation technology research, the development and production of various terminal products, and comprehensive operational services.
The Gu'an Satellite Navigation Industrial Park covers a total area of 171 mu. Invested by Gu'an China Fortune Land Development Co., Ltd. at a cost of 630 million yuan, the project was constructed in two phases. It comprises 46 multi-story factory buildings totaling 144,000 square meters, all of which have been completed and are now in operation. The industrial park is home to 53 enterprises, including 28 satellite navigation companies, 10 military-civilian integration enterprises, and 15 other technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises.Leveraging the presence of aerospace enterprises in Gu'an—including the 12th and 14th Institutes of the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CAST) and the First Academy’s Department—the park focuses on developing supporting aerospace technology industries centered on intelligent control systems, IoT smart application devices, integrated satellite terminals, manufacturing of satellite private network service facilities, and ground equipment manufacturing. This includes foundational products for the satellite navigation industry such as chips, OEM boards,Beidou antennas, and electronic maps; as well as terminal products such as GIS data collection equipment, in-vehicle navigation terminals, in-vehicle monitoring terminals, portable navigation terminals, and aviation/maritime GNSS equipment. At the same time, the park actively develops aerospace technology application industries—including new materials, new energy, specialized equipment, precision machinery, and electronics—to seize early opportunities in industrial development.
The Gu'an Satellite Navigation Industrial Park is located within the planned boundaries of the Aerospace Industrial Park. It comprises functional zones such as pilot production and R&D buildings, standard factory buildings, support service centers, and exhibition and display centers, with floor areas ranging from 1,200 to 4,000 square meters. The architectural design incorporates Germany’s DGNB certification standards to create industrial spaces of the highest caliber. It also integrates a “Colorful Garden” landscape plan inspired by global concepts, establishing an ecological, culturally rich, vibrant, and modern garden-style R&D and office environment characterized by low density and high greenery. The BeiDou Satellite Navigation System is a global satellite navigation system independently developed and operated by China, compatible with other global satellite navigation systems. It provides high-precision, highly reliable positioning, navigation, and timing services worldwide, 24/7.Currently, 53 enterprises have established operations in the Satellite Navigation Industrial Park, with an output value of 200 million yuan and tax revenue of 15.6 million yuan in 2020. The BeiDou Satellite Navigation System is poised to achieve global coverage and usher in historic development opportunities!
