A National-Level Economic and Technological Development Zone, upgraded to national-level status in 2018 with the approval of the State Council, is located in Lengshuitan District, Yongzhou City, with a planned area of 50 square kilometers. The zone focuses on developing industries such as electronic information, light industry and textiles, equipment manufacturing, and biopharmaceuticals, aiming to establish a demonstration zone for industrial transfer in southern Hunan. It hosts key projects including Hunan Kaisheng Footwear, Yongzhou Times Lithium Battery, Zhonggu Bio, and Xinzheng Electronics.The park enjoys convenient transportation links, situated at the intersection of the Erguang Expressway, Quannan Expressway, and Luozhan Railway. By 2025, it aims to achieve a total industrial output value exceeding 65 billion yuan, attract 85 industrial transfer projects from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and secure 1.23 billion USD in actual utilized foreign investment. The park features over 2 million square meters of standard factory space, complemented by facilities such as the Yongzhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone, talent apartments, and an enterprise service center.The park benefits from policy support as a National-Level Economic and Technological Development Zone, a Demonstration Zone for Industrial Transfer in Southern and Western Hunan, and a partner in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area industrial collaboration initiative.
