Industrial Park Introduction
Established in 2009, the Huangqiao Economic Development Zone in Taixing, Jiangsu, covers a planned area of 18 square kilometers. It has been recognized as the “China Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Innovation Demonstration Base” and the “Jiangsu Provincial Modern Equipment Technology Industrial Park,” and was elevated to the status of a provincial-level economic development zone in 2018.
The development zone focuses on three key industries: modern equipment manufacturing, new energy and new materials, and biotechnology. To date, the zone has implemented 91 projects each valued at over 100 million yuan, with a total investment of 22 billion yuan. Among these, there are seven major projects exceeding 1 billion yuan and nine major projects exceeding 500 million yuan. These initiatives have provided robust industrial support for promoting high-quality development and poverty alleviation in eastern Taixing and the Huangqiao Old District.
