The Beijing-Tianjin Cooperation Demonstration Zone, also known as China·Light-Year City, covers an area of 38 square kilometers with a total floor area of approximately 22.75 million square meters. The project is scheduled to take 15 years to complete. Upon completion, it is expected to have a permanent population of about 310,000 and a workforce of approximately 180,000. It will be developed into a key hub for the relocation of non-capital functions, a vital platform for deepening all-round cooperation between Beijing and Tianjin, and a pilot base for regional reform, innovation, and development, serving as a major node city within the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei world-class urban agglomeration.
