The Changshan County Science and Technology Innovation Center covers an area of 55,000 square meters and is located in the core area of the Jinchuan District within the Changshan County Economic and Technological Development Zone. Developed by the Changshan County Industrial Group, the center has a total floor area of 109,599.49 square meters, comprising 52,888.32 square meters of office and R&D space, 17,329.28 square meters of commercial facilities, and 7,591.32 square meters of hotel-style talent apartments.
In November 2024, the Changshan County Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Zhejiang University Science and Technology Park. Subsequently, the Changshan Industrial Group and the Zhejiang University Science and Technology Park jointly established an operating company to manage the Changshan Science and Technology Innovation Center. At the same time, the Changshan County Development Zone Management Committee, the Changshan Industrial Group,the Zhejiang University Science and Technology Park signed a tripartite cooperation agreement to implement a "unified management, unified planning, and unified operation" model for the Science and Innovation Center, aiming to achieve shared benefits and complementary resources, and to promote the preservation and appreciation of state-owned assets as well as coordinated industrial development.
The Changshan Science and Technology Innovation Center represents a significant strategic achievement resulting from the Changshan County People’s Government’s earnest implementation of Zhejiang Province’s “315” Science and Technology Innovation System Construction Project and its exploration of using technological innovation to drive industrial innovation. It serves as a crucial platform for Changshan County to advance Quzhou’s policy directives of “strengthening the city through industry and revitalizing the city through industrial development,” focusing on the “integration of the five chains,”and serves as a key window for achieving new breakthroughs in realizing Quzhou’s goal of establishing a talent and innovation bridgehead at the intersection of four provinces. It is also a vital platform through which the Changshan County Government and Zhejiang University Science Park collaborate on scientific and technological innovation and project incubation, promoting an industrial synergy model characterized by “Hangzhou-Changshan dual-city R&D + Changshan industrial transformation + full-lifecycle innovation empowerment.” The center is equipped with comprehensive supporting facilities, including hotel-style talent apartments, restaurants, gyms, leisure centers, shared meeting rooms, pitch halls, and parking lots.
