The Nengda Biomedical Innovation Park was developed by the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Zone Holding Group and is jointly operated by the Zhongguancun Medical Device Park and Shanghai Zhongjian Consulting Co., Ltd. With a focus on biomedicine and medical devices, the park specializes in innovative R&D, incubation and acceleration, and technology commercialization, and is committed to building an innovative and competitive platform for the life sciences and healthcare industry. The park has a total floor area of approximately 95,000 square meters, comprising nine R&D and incubation facilities and one enterprise service center.

Co-working Space: 1,000 square meters, supporting startup teams in getting off to a quick start. Incubation Units: 8,200 square meters of standardized R&D units to meet the needs of early-stage enterprises.Accelerator Units: 70,000 square meters of industrial acceleration facilities to support enterprises in scaling up. The park is equipped with a 2,500-square-meter public technology service platform, providing biopharmaceutical companies with shared R&D instruments, equipment, and laboratory space, as well as professional services such as testing and inspection, pilot and intermediate-scale trials, and clinical registration to accelerate the commercialization of R&D outcomes. This forms a complete chain of “co-working spaces—incubators—accelerators—specialized parks,” offering personalized, customized services.

In October 2025, Zhongguancun Medical Device Park Co., Ltd. began operations. As a key subsidiary of the Zhongguancun Development Group, the company focuses on three core business segments—park operations, industrial services, and sales of innovative medical devices—and possesses four core capabilities. It effectively addresses four common pain points in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, helping Nantong establish itself as a bridgehead for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry in the Yangtze River Delta.
