Park Overview
The park was planned as a single project to be developed in two phases, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan. It covers a total area of 275.29 mu and has a total floor area of 228,900 square meters. The park officially opened on October 19, 2024. Phase I has been completed, and construction of the 12 factory buildings in Phase II is scheduled to begin in the second half of the year. Once the project reaches full production capacity, it is expected to generate an annual output value of 1 billion yuan and annual tax revenue of 50 million yuan.It is expected to attract 2 billion yuan in investment from surface treatment enterprises and leverage an output value of up to 20 billion yuan in the automotive parts industry. The completion of the park fills the gap for a centralized, standardized surface treatment industrial park within the Wuhan metropolitan area, significantly enhancing the manufacturing supply chain support capabilities of the region. It will accelerate the development of industrial chains in Huangshi City across sectors such as copper deep processing, automotive manufacturing, mechanical equipment, electronics and information technology, and light industrial hardware, thereby promoting the upgrading and sustainable development of the regional industrial chain.
Since construction began, the project has received numerous honors, including designation as a Hubei Provincial Key Project for 2023, 2024, and 2025; selection as a 2023 Hubei Provincial “100-1,000-10,000” Leading Labor Competition Project; recognition as a 2024 Provincial “Innovative SME”; and municipal certifications for “High-Quality Construction Project” and “Safe and Civilized Construction Site.” It serves as a vital platform for building the province’s industrial public service infrastructure.
Phase I has completed 10 high-standard factory buildings in five different sizes to accommodate the construction needs of large, medium, and small-scale surface treatment production lines. In terms of supporting facilities, the Investment Promotion Service Center meets the needs of park enterprises for office space, meetings, dining, business hospitality, and intelligent management;Buildings A and B, designated as shift-work dormitories, primarily serve the production shift and living needs of park enterprises; the boiler room provides centralized steam supply with a maximum capacity of 50 t/h; the park has constructed warehouses for electroplating materials and chemical raw materials to provide supply chain services to tenant enterprises. Through centralized procurement, it reduces enterprises’ raw material procurement costs and offers credit terms to alleviate their financial pressure.The electroplating wastewater treatment center, with a total investment of 180 million yuan, serves as a core supporting facility for the park. Designed and constructed in accordance with the discharge standards outlined in Table 3, it has a design treatment capacity of 6,000 tons per day. It collects and treats production wastewater by category to ensure compliance before discharging it to the Changle Mountain Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant.
