The China (Nanchang) Modern Vocational Education City project is located in the Nanbian Mountain area of Anyi County, Nanchang City. With a planned area of 24.6 square kilometers and a total investment of approximately 20 billion yuan, the project centers on vocational education, extends into industry-academia-research-application integration, and is supported by high-end services. It aims to establish a range of competitive majors and science and education platforms closely aligned with provincial and municipal industries, becoming a hub for technical and skilled talent in Nanchang, a "reservoir" for high-end labor in Jiangxi, and a "new high ground" for vocational education in Central China. The China Nanchang Modern Vocational Education City project comprises five major functional zones—vocational training, scientific and technological innovation and R&D, enterprise services, cultural tourism and wellness, and living amenities—encompassing a total of 44 sub-projects. It plans to attract and establish 10 to 12 vocational colleges within the city. Eight institutions, including Jiangxi Aviation Technology College, Nanchang Vocational University, and Jiangxi University of Applied Science and Technology, have already expressed interest in establishing campuses there. The planned construction area is 21.05 square kilometers,with a core development area of 8.29 square kilometers. The total investment amounts to 20 billion yuan, and the planned population is 200,000.
