The Harbin Longjiang Optics Valley Industrial Park is a pilot demonstration zone developed by the Hulun District Party Committee and District Government with the full support of the district; it also serves as the core engine for the future economic development of the Hulun Economic and Technological Development Zone. The industrial park project covers an area of 208,000 square meters, with a total floor area of 250,000 square meters and a total investment of 1.35 billion yuan. Construction includes an entrepreneurship tower, an exhibition center, single- and multi-story factory buildings, apartments, and supporting facilities.
The park focuses on three major industries—food and health, biopharmaceuticals, and smart manufacturing—and is committed to establishing a national-level demonstration base for the food, pharmaceutical, and health industries. Currently, construction of the park is moving full steam ahead, with Phase I officially put into operation in June 2023.
