The Tsinghua Innovation Hub (Ningbo) is a science and technology innovation base established by Tsinghua Innovation Hub—Tsinghua University’s industrial science and technology innovation platform—in the Qianwan New Area of Ningbo.The project covers an area of 116 mu (approximately 7.7 hectares), with a planned total floor area of about 180,000 square meters. It aims to develop a comprehensive technology park ecosystem integrating high-end corporate headquarters, technology incubators, co-working spaces, and innovation and entrepreneurship communities. The project seeks to become the premier business hub in the Bay Area Innovation Economic Zone, a hub for high-tech industries, a cradle for innovation and entrepreneurship, a center for industry-academia-research-application collaboration, and a magnet for high-tech talent.
Upon completion, the park will primarily host enterprises in Cixi’s leading industries and key emerging sectors, including smart manufacturing, electronic information, new energy, new materials, the internet, entrepreneurial services, smart healthcare, intelligent robotics, and optoelectronic chips. This will establish the park’s core industries and foster industrial chain clustering. By strategically leveraging Tsinghua University’s industrial resources, the project will build a technology business incubator with comprehensive hardware facilities and a robust service system, striving to nurture and incubate a cohort of high-growth enterprises.
