Located in Shule County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang, within the planned boundaries of the Kashgar Economic Development Zone, the area borders countries such as India and Pakistan. It boasts the unique geographical advantage of “five border crossings connecting eight countries and a single route linking Eurasia.” The only chemical industrial park and steel mill in Southern Xinjiang are both situated within the zone.
