The Wuqing Automotive Industrial Park focuses on three key industries: new energy vehicles and core components, new materials, and high-end equipment and smart manufacturing. It has established a new energy vehicle and core components sector represented by companies such as BYD New Energy Vehicles, China Hydrogen Valley, Mether New Energy Technology, Tsinghua University’s Automotive ESC Project, Changchun Auto Parts, Dali Auto Parts, and Xiangxin Technology;a new materials industry represented by Zhongwang Aluminum, Tianyi Shangjia New Materials, Huajiang Composite Materials, and the Beijing University of Science and Technology’s titanium and aluminum alloy industrialization project;A high-end equipment and intelligent manufacturing sector represented by a series of technology transfer projects from major research institutions and universities, including Xinjiang TBEA, Jiangsu Tianye, Xinyuan Environmental Protection Equipment, Quadrant Space drones, Xunniao Omnidirectional Recognition System, the Northern China Intelligent Advanced Manufacturing R&D Platform, and the Laser Intelligent Equipment Public Technical Service R&D Platform. The industrial sectors are clearly defined, and there is a high degree of synergy and integration among them.
