Park Overview
Established in June 1992, the park is a key industrial demonstration zone in Tianjin, serving as a major destination for the relocation of manufacturing industries from Beijing and a crucial hub for the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. In 2017, it was designated by the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordination Office as a platform for the relocation of modern manufacturing industries within the "2+4+46" reception platform framework. The park has a planned area of 31.76 square kilometers, of which 18.52 square kilometers have been developed and constructed. Its leading industries include high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy and new materials, healthcare, and food processing. The Jizhou Development Zone is located within the one-hour economic circle of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and at the center of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban cluster. It is 80 kilometers west of downtown Beijing; 100 kilometers south of downtown Tianjin and 130 kilometers south of Binhai New Area; and 90 kilometers east of downtown Tangshan.
