Established in August 2010, the Jining County Southwestern Shandong Trade and Logistics Zone covers a total planned area of 21,000 mu and is the only national-level demonstration logistics park in Jining City.The park’s industrial layout is organized into “three zones, four centers, and multiple service stations.” Major business sectors include high-end commerce, agricultural product trade and logistics, warehousing and distribution, cold-chain logistics, automotive trade and logistics, as well as home furnishings and building materials trading and steel trading. The park’s infrastructure is gradually being improved, and its service platforms are becoming increasingly robust, providing the foundation and conditions necessary to support large-scale commerce and logistics projects.
In recent years, the park has closely aligned with the strategic goals of “building a major logistics county and a strong commercial county” and “creating a new hub for commerce and logistics in the border region of Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan, and Anhui.” Leveraging Jining County’s geographical and industrial advantages, the park has advanced its development through scientific planning, investment promotion, and project construction. As a result, a number of flagship projects have been successfully established and are now operational.To date, the park has attracted 20 key projects each valued at over 100 million yuan, with a total investment of 23 billion yuan. Of this, 16 billion yuan has been invested to date, generating an annual transaction volume of 30 billion yuan and creating over 60,000 jobs. In recent years, the park has generated cumulative tax revenue of over 300 million yuan.

Among these, the Jining Garlic International Trading Market is the nation’s largest single agricultural product trading market and a designated market by the Ministry of Agriculture. It has become a national hub for garlic trading, logistics distribution, information services, and price formation. Phase I of the Kaisheng International Agricultural Products Logistics Park project has commenced operations, currently hosting over 3,000 merchants. Upon full completion and operation, it will establish a new industrial landscape for agricultural trade in the northern region of the Yangtze River, characterized by “Henan Wanbang in the south and Shandong Jining in the north.”The Jinheng Agricultural Products Cold Chain Logistics Park and Shengye Cold Chain Logistics Park have become the largest and most comprehensive cold chain logistics bases in the southwestern Shandong region; projects such as Shunda Logistics Port, Jining Yiwu Small Commodities City, Jinyu Home Furnishings City, and Shenke Automobile City have become pillar enterprises in our county’s commerce sector;The establishment and construction of projects such as the Jinlongwan Cultural and Business District, Hongxing International Trade Plaza, Hongxing Meikailong, and the province’s renowned chain retail enterprise Guihe Shopping Center have injected new vitality into the development of Jining County’s commerce and trade sector.
