The Shandong Kenli Economic Development Zone has a planned area of 1,498.00 hectares and consists of three blocks. Block 1: The main area, covering 1,380.59 hectares, is bounded by Dongsanhu Road to the east, 900 meters south of Tongxing Road to the south, the Rongwu Expressway to the west, and Shengxing Road to the north;Block 2: Western Suburb Area, covering 56.94 hectares, bounded by Fusheng Road to the east, North 2nd Road to the south, Yongsheng Road to the west, and Weifang Road to the north;Block 3: Oilfield Entrepreneurship Park Area, covering 60.47 hectares, bounded by Huafeng Road to the east, Dezhou Road to the south, the internal road west of the Cementing Company to the west, and the internal road north of the Aokailong Company to the north. Specific boundaries are defined by the coordinates of the boundary points.
In December 1995, the Shandong Kenli Economic Development Zone was approved for establishment by the People’s Government of Shandong Province as a provincial-level economic development zone. In May 2023, the People’s Government of Shandong Province approved an adjustment to the planned area of the Shandong Kenli Economic Development Zone.
