Suining High-Tech Zone was officially established in March 2019. Built according to a “one zone, multiple parks” model, it comprises the Directly Administered Area, Chuanshan Park, Jinqiao Park, Anju Park, and Suining Innovation Park. The Directly Administered Area covers 60 square kilometers, with a registered population of over 38,000 and a permanent resident population of over 75,000.Suining High-Tech Zone focuses on the city’s “1336” overall work strategy. Centered on the goal of “Highlights in High-Tech” and the development positioning of “Five Highs, Four News, and Two Zones,” it is fully committed to building a high-tech industrial cluster and a national logistics hub economic demonstration zone. Since its establishment, it has earned more than 30 national and provincial accolades, including “Land-Port Type National Logistics Hub” and “First Batch of Industrial Cooperation Demonstration Parks in the Chengdu-Chongqing Dual-City Economic Circle.”
Located at a central node along the Chengdu-Chongqing development axis, Suining High-Tech Zone is equidistant from Chengdu and Chongqing at 128 kilometers. It borders Anju District to the south and adjoins the Economic and Technological Development Zone to the north, offering a geographical advantage that allows it to share in the economies of scale of other districts, counties, and industrial parks, thereby possessing immense development potential.The area features one completed railway line (the Shanghai-Chengdu Railway, with Suining South Station), two expressway toll stations (on S40 Guanghong Expressway and S53 Maosui Expressway, with Suining South and Suining High-Tech Zone toll stations), 14.4 kilometers of national highways(G246, G247, G318), 4.5 kilometers of provincial highways (S207), and 69.9 kilometers of rural roads (6.8 kilometers of county roads, 2.2 kilometers of township roads, and 60.8 kilometers of village roads), forming a "well" pattern of two north-south and four east-west transportation backbone networks.
