The Yuanbaoshan Industrial Park in the Chifeng High-Tech Industrial Development Zone is a key component of the zone. Its industrial focus is on developing high-value specialty APIs and patented APIs, while also encouraging the development of innovative chemical drugs and improved innovative chemical drugs.
The park is planned to cover 5,000 mu (Category M3 land), a scarce type of industrial land in the province. Currently, the park’s basic supporting infrastructure is becoming increasingly complete, with a wastewater treatment plant (daily treatment capacity of 9,800 m³/d), thermal energy utilization infrastructure (steam supply of over 90 t/h), and main roads (3 km) already in place, as well as a public service platform currently under development.
As of February 2024, the Yuanbaoshan Industrial Park within the Chifeng High-Tech Industrial Development Zone has successfully attracted four biopharmaceutical projects, including Yipinhong, Xinghe, Weichun, and Tongjun. Among these, the first phase of Yipinhong’s Guangdong Ruishi Innovative API project is expected to generate over 3 billion yuan in sales revenue and create more than 300 jobs upon commencement of operations.
