Established in 2007, the Shenyang Coastal Economic Zone is a provincial-level development zone located 45 kilometers from downtown Shenyang. Its one-hour economic sphere encompasses eight major industrial cities with a combined population of 24 million. The zone has a planned land area of 120 square kilometers. The Coastal Economic Zone and the Comprehensive Bonded Zone have been integrated into a single entity, forming a new framework characterized by “integration of the two zones, support from multiple parks, cluster-based development, and mutual promotion and support.”The zone focuses on developing six major industrial clusters: commercial vehicles and components, high-end equipment manufacturing and supporting industries, new materials, circular economy, commerce and logistics, and deep processing of agricultural products.
