The Panjin Gaosheng Economic Zone is located in the northeastern part of Panjin City, Liaoning Province. It was established in September 2010 and designated as a municipal-level key development zone by the Panjin Municipal Government. In October 2011, it was designated as a provincial-level comprehensive modern agricultural demonstration zone by the Liaoning Provincial Government, and in January 2012, it was designated as the core area of the second batch of national modern agricultural demonstration zones by the Ministry of Agriculture.The Panjin Gaosheng Economic Zone has a total planned area of 330 square kilometers and encompasses Gaosheng Town, Chenjia Town, and Desheng Town, with an initial development area of 7 square kilometers.
