The Jinggangshan Economic and Technological Development Zone is a national-level economic and technological development zone. The zone currently has 318 enterprises above designated size, 11 national-level “Specialized, Refined, Unique, and Innovative” (SRUI) “Little Giant” enterprises,and 4 locally listed companies. It has been awarded 17 national-level designations, including National Electronic Information Industry Demonstration Base and National Ecological Industrial Demonstration Park. In the 2023 comprehensive evaluation of 230 national-level economic and technological development zones across the country, it ranked 82nd. It has been recognized as an advanced unit among the province’s open platforms for six consecutive years and has been approved as a National Ecological Industrial Park, the Jiangxi Provincial Electronic Information Industry Digital Transformation Promotion Center, and a provincial-level pilot for the digital transformation of electronic information industry clusters.
The main campus of the Jinggangshan Economic and Technological Development Zone covers a planned area of 52 square kilometers, focusing on the development of the leading electronic information industry and advanced equipment manufacturing; the Hedong Park covers a planned area of 5.2 square kilometers, focusing on urban-type industries such as electronic information and advanced manufacturing; the Futan Park covers a planned area of 45.9 square kilometers, focusing on the biomedicine and healthcare industry as well as the new energy and new materials industry;The Jizhou Industrial Park, with a planned area of 12.2 square kilometers, focuses on the leading electronic information industry, machinery manufacturing, food and pharmaceuticals, and emerging service sectors.
