The Jiangxi Xinfeng Industrial Park was established in September 2001. Located in the northern part of Xinfeng County in southern Ganzhou City, it is 1 kilometer from Xinfeng Station on the Beijing-Kowloon Railway and 7 kilometers from the Xinfeng exit toll station on the Ganzhou-Guangdong Expressway. National Highway 105 runs north-south through the park.The master plan for Phase I (East Zone) covers an area of 6.67 square kilometers. The Phase II plan (West Zone), an 8,039-mu electronics industry base, has been approved by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission. A 3,500-mu navel orange industrial technology park is currently being planned. It is one of the largest provincial-level industrial parks in Jiangxi Province approved by the state for development.
In 2006, the park was designated by the provincial government as a Provincial Private Technology Park, a Provincial Circular Economy Pilot Industrial Park, and a “10-100-1,000 Billion Project” park with a target output value of 10 billion yuan. In 2009, it was classified as a Provincial Class II Management Park and was named a “City-wide Advanced Industrial Park” and a “City-wide Characteristic Industrial Park.” In 2010, it was designated as a Ganzhou City Circular Economy Pilot Park and is currently striving to become a Provincial Ecological Industrial Park.
