Located in Jiangning District, Nanjing, the Qilin Science and Technology Innovation Park is a key platform for scientific and technological innovation prioritized by the municipal Party committee and government. With a total planned area of 83 square kilometers, the park boasts an excellent ecological environment and a rich cultural heritage. It is bordered to the south by the Jiangning University Town, to the north by the Xianlin University Town, and to the west by the Chengdong Higher Education Cluster.
The Qilin Science and Technology Innovation Park focuses on industries such as next-generation information technology, new energy, new economic models, and smart manufacturing, serving as a hub for national-level science and technology innovation institutions. As of 2023, the park has attracted seven research institutes, including the Shanghai Institute of Automation and the Shanghai Pasteur Institute, established eight research and development institutions affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, incubated a total of 443 enterprises, and attracted a talent pool of over 2,000 professionals.
