The Jiawang High-Tech Development Zone is an emerging component of Xuzhou’s integrated development in Jiawang, with a planned area of 80.3 square kilometers and a spatial layout organized around the “One Zone, Two Cores, and Multiple Parks” framework.The “one zone” refers to the Jiawang High-Tech Development Zone; the “two cores” are the Pan’an Lake Science, Education, and Innovation Zone and the Emerging Industry Park Demonstration Zone; and the “multiple parks” include the New Energy Vehicle Industrial Park, the High-End Engineering Equipment Industrial Park, the Smart Manufacturing Industrial Park, and the Hengsheng Smart Valley Industrial Park, among others. The goal is to foster several emerging industrial clusters characterized by concentrated enterprises, comprehensive resources, and close collaboration.The target industries are high-end equipment and smart manufacturing (construction machinery) and new energy vehicles.
