Park Overview
Yangzhou Eco-Tech New Town was established in November 2013. Located in the Yangtze-Yangzhou River convergence zone—the new urban center of Yangzhou—it comprises two towns (Hangji and Tai’an), 21 administrative villages, and two neighborhood committees, with a permanent population of approximately 99,000.Bounded by Fenghuang Island to the north, Jiajiang River to the south, Liaojiagou to the west, and the banks of the Gaoshui River and Mangdao River to the east, the area covers a total of approximately 81 square kilometers.
The region enjoys convenient transportation links, with the Qiyang Expressway and the Shanghai-Xian Expressway passing through the northern and southern ends, respectively. The Nanjing-Qidong Railway and the Lianyungang-Huai’an-Yangzhou-Zhenjiang Railway intersect within the area in a cross-shaped configuration, and it is located 23 kilometers from Yangzhou-Taizhou International Airport.
The "Seven Rivers and Eight Islands" area in the north consists of seven rivers and eight islands formed by their divisions. With pristine water quality and robust wetland functions, it is known as Yangzhou’s “green lung” and the city’s “backyard garden,” serving as the core area of Yangzhou’s optimal living environment.
