The Tongzhou Bay Modern Textile Industrial Park has a total planned area of 11.5 square kilometers. The planned area is bounded by Tonghai Avenue and comprises two sections—north and south—with a planning period from 2025 to 2035.The industrial positioning is as follows: (1) A national innovation base for high-end fabrics, focusing on enterprises engaged in dyeing and functional finishing of home textile and apparel fabrics, with a primary emphasis on home textiles;(2) A manufacturing base for high-quality home textiles in the Asia-Pacific region, leveraging Nantong’s traditional strengths in the home textiles industry to strengthen the high-end home textiles sector; (3) A global innovation base for new materials in industrial textiles, dedicated to the research, development, and production of textiles for the health and wellness sector and high-performance protective textiles.
