The Jiangsu Fengxian Economic Development Zone is a provincial-level development zone approved and announced by the National Development and Reform Commission in May 2006. It is a key growth engine for the county’s future industrial economy and a prime area for business, leisure, and residential development, which Fengxian County is dedicated to building. The initial development area covers 11.7 square kilometers, with a near-term construction area of 25 square kilometers and a long-term planned area of 60 square kilometers.Based on industrial characteristics and spatial development, the Fengxian Headquarters Economy Park has currently formed an industrial structure comprising “one zone and eight parks”: the Development Zone, Xifeng Industrial Park, Salt Chemical Industry Park, Machinery and Foundry Park, Commerce and Logistics Park, Electric Vehicle Industry Park, Food and Agricultural By-products Processing Park, High-Tech Industrial Park, and Photovoltaic-Modern Agriculture Industrial Park.Four major industrial clusters—the electric tricycle cluster, the coal-salt chemical industry cluster, the machinery and foundry cluster, and the agricultural by-products deep processing cluster—have begun to take shape.
Adhering to the service philosophy of “satisfying investors and entrepreneurs,” the Jiangsu Fengxian Headquarters Economic Park provides full-process tracking services for investment projects and offers “one-stop” and “comprehensive” support to enterprises within the park. For high-tech projects encouraged by the state or those that play a pivotal or catalytic role in Fengxian’s economic development, the Development Zone adopts a “case-by-case” and “special treatment for special cases” approach to serve enterprises.
