The Suzhou High-Tech Industrial Development Zone is one of the first national-level high-tech zones in China and serves as the core area of the Southern Jiangsu National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone. Industrial clusters have been formed in sectors such as next-generation information technology—represented by big data, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things; distinctive military-civilian integration industries—represented by aerospace and high-end equipment; and emerging industries—represented by new energy and biopharmaceuticals. These clusters have become a driving force for high-quality development.Currently, the output value of emerging industries and high-tech industries in Suzhou High-Tech Zone accounts for 56.3% and 78.5%, respectively, of the total industrial output value of enterprises above designated size, establishing the zone as a hub for industrial and technological innovation with nationwide influence.
