Park Overview
Yanghe New District was established in April 2011, with a total area of 200 square kilometers and a registered population of 202,700. Located in the southeastern part of Suqian City, it is where the Yanluo, Xuhuai, and Xinyang expressways intersect, and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal runs through the district. The New District closely adheres to its development position as the “core area of China’s Capital of Liquor,” with the Jiangsu Provincial Brewing Industrial Park serving as the overarching framework, to build a new “One Zone, Four Parks” development model.Suqian boasts a history of liquor production spanning more than 1,300 years. The baijiu industry accounts for nearly 80% of Jiangsu’s output and 5.8% of the national total. Home to the two major brands “Yanghe” and “Shuanggou,” it is the only baijiu-producing region in China to hold six “China Well-Known Trademarks.”The New District has established a full-industry-chain ecosystem covering brewing, packaging, and cultural tourism, and has built a 1,300-mu Creative Packaging Industrial Park that brings together more than 30 packaging support enterprises. It has successively been awarded titles such as “National Demonstration Zone for Well-Known Brands in the Mianrou-Style Baijiu Industry,” “National Modern Agricultural Science and Technology Park,” “National Agricultural Industry Strong Town,” “Provincial-Level Tourist Resort,” and “Provincial-Level Agricultural High-Tech Zone.”
