Park Overview
The Funing High-Tech Industrial Development Zone is located on the western outskirts of Funing County. Originally known as the Jiangsu Funing Chemical Industrial Park, it was established in 2003. In 2007, the Funing Aoyang Industrial Park was established with the approval of the Yancheng Municipal People’s Government. In 2009, it merged with Guojian Town, implementing an integrated town-park management system;In 2017, with the approval of the Yancheng Municipal Government, the Funing High-Tech Industrial Development Zone was established. It currently covers a total area of 70 square kilometers, with 50 square kilometers designated as industrial functional zones. Of this, 18.8 square kilometers are designated as industrial development zones.The park has established an industrial structure supported by high-performance fibers, polymer composites, and high-tech manufacturing. Well-known domestic listed companies such as Aoyang Group, Far East Holding Group, China General Nuclear Power Group, and Taiwan’s Shangwei have successively established operations here. The park is home to 113 enterprises, including Liwang Technology, Oxyme Environmental Protection, Chaomei Aramid, Shuangchang Fertilizer, Yaqi Environmental Protection, and Telvis Intelligent Technology.The park features innovation platforms such as technology incubators, innovation bases, and co-working spaces, with 12 technology R&D enterprises already established there. The park has been honored with titles including “National Cellulose Fiber and Materials Production Base,” “Jiangsu Provincial New Materials Science and Technology Industrial Park,” “Jiangsu Provincial Demonstration Zone for North-South Industrial Transfer,” “Jiangsu Provincial Pilot Zone for the Integration of Industrialization and Informatization,” and “Yancheng Municipal Key Specialized Industrial Park.”
