The Jiangsu Xiangshui Economic Development Zone is a provincial-level economic development zone established in June 2006 following review by the National Development and Reform Commission and approval by the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government. The zone firmly upholds the five development concepts of innovation, coordination, green development, openness, and shared benefits, and is fully committed to building a new development zone characterized by the integration of industry and urban life, as well as openness and innovation.The park boasts unique natural resources, a superior location, comprehensive supporting facilities, and an ample supply of production factors. With relatively low production and business costs, it offers strong investment appeal and support. Currently, the park is home to over 200 enterprises across various sectors, including new building materials, mechanical and electronic equipment, textile dyeing and finishing, and environmental protection equipment. The infrastructure features “six utilities and one leveling,” and service facilities are well-developed. The three major pillar industries—mechanical and electronic equipment, new building materials, and high-end textiles—have already taken shape.The park has been successively awarded titles such as “Jiangsu Province Bearing Housing Industry Capital,” “Jiangsu Province Specialized Transmission Components Industrial Park,” “Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Innovation Park,” and “Pilot Park of the Yangtze River Delta Industrial Park Joint Construction Alliance.” It has become the largest colored spun yarn production base in Jiangsu Province.
