The Xuzhou Quanshan Economic Development Zone was established by the Xuzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to strengthen development in the northwestern part of the city and accelerate the urbanization strategy. The total planned area is 32 square kilometers, with an initial development zone covering 8.81 square kilometers. It is primarily divided into four functional zones: a large-scale industrial cluster, the Jiuli Lake Ecological Wetland Park, an eco-commercial tourism and residential zone, and an urban agriculture demonstration zone.
The development zone is vigorously promoting the optimization and upgrading of its industrial structure, actively attracting modern service industries, high-tech industries, and construction machinery manufacturing. Priority is given to the development of modern logistics, eco-tourism agriculture, supporting industries for Jiuli Lake tourism, and comprehensive commercial and residential projects. The North City Development Zone proactively accepts industrial transfers from advanced and developed regions and seeks broad capital partnerships, striving to establish itself as a new highlight in northwest Xuzhou and throughout the entire city.
