Park Overview
The Taizhou Port Logistics Industrial Park serves as a microcosm and model of Taizhou’s high-quality development, as well as a vanguard for the city’s integration into southern Jiangsu and its development across the Yangtze River. It has attracted a cluster of companies and institutions, including Yihai Kerry, Charoen Pokphand Group, Yangtze River Longfeng Tang, Guodian Energy, the Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Sinotrans, Jiangsu Overseas Group, Sanhe Huifu, Far East Group,Marusho Soy Sauce, among other Fortune 500 companies, China’s Top 500 enterprises, central and state-owned enterprises, and renowned R&D institutions.
The Port Logistics Industrial Park boasts 12.8 kilometers of prime waterfront along the Yangtze River’s “Golden Waterway,”with water depths ranging from -12 to -15 meters. It features Taizhou Port, a Class I national open port, which was among the first ports to establish direct shipping routes following the "Three Links" between mainland China and Taiwan. It is also the first port where the Yangtze River transitions from an A-class to a B-class navigation zone. Traveling upstream reaches five provinces and municipalities—Anhui, Jiangxi, Hubei, Sichuan, and Chongqing—while traveling downstream leads to the sea and connects to the world.Currently, the port’s shipping routes have established a domestic water transport network extending westward to Chongqing and Wuhan, northward to Yingkou and Dalian, and southward to Haikou and Shekou, providing direct access to 104 countries and regions worldwide. The park has been recognized as a National Outstanding Logistics Park, a Jiangsu Provincial Modern Service Industry Cluster, a Provincial Model Logistics Park, and a Jiangsu Provincial Demonstration Zone for Productive Service Industry Clusters.
