The Yannan High-Tech Industrial Development Zone focuses on new industries, the new economy, new business formats, and new models. It is committed to developing sectors such as the digital economy, commerce and trade, cultural tourism, modern finance, and healthcare and elderly care, gradually forming an urban industrial system with distinctive southern Yancheng characteristics. The zone is home to one national-level incubator, four provincial-level maker spaces, and 10 R&D institutions at the provincial level or above.Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications has established the Yancheng Big Data Research Institute and Technology Transfer Center in the Yan Nan High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. To support the big data industry, the zone has established provincial-level key laboratories such as the Jiangsu Provincial Engineering Laboratory for Big Data Trading and Circulation and the Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory for Big Data Security and Intelligent Processing, and has been successfully approved as the Yancheng National High-Tech Industrialization Base for Manufacturing Big Data.
