Park Overview
The Jiangsu Yangtze River International Chemical Industrial Park was established in May 2001 with the approval of the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government. It is a chemical industrial park specializing in fine chemicals. The Jiangsu Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone Management Committee is responsible for its planning, management, development, and construction. Phase I of the park covers a planned area of 6.64 square kilometers and serves as an industrial support zone for the Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone, enjoying the relevant preferential policies of the Free Trade Zone.
In November 2010, the Jiangsu Yangtze River International Chemical Industrial Park was designated as a National Ecological Industrial Demonstration Park. In November 2021, the park was identified as a pilot site for the creation of a green chemical industrial park. In October 2023, the park’s total planned area was adjusted to 16.94 square kilometers, divided into North and South zones.
