Established in 1993 with the approval of the Jiangsu Provincial Government, this provincial-level development zone covers an administrative area of 57.5 square kilometers, with a planned development area of 19.1 square kilometers. It is home to 607 market entities of various types, including 61 industrial enterprises above a certain scale.Firmly focused on the photovoltaic (PV) new energy sector, the park has formed a relatively complete PV industrial chain centered around leading enterprises such as Hengdian Dongci, Quartz Co., Ltd., and Shenzhou New Energy. The new energy industry has become the park’s dominant and leading sector. It has successively been designated as a National-Level Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Space, a Jiangsu Provincial Demonstration Park for Characteristic Innovation (New Energy Industry), a Provincial-Level Circular Economy Demonstration Park, and a Provincial-Level New Energy Industrial Park.
