Park Overview
The Taizhou National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone for Pharmaceuticals, located in Taizhou—a new riverside industrial and trade city in the Yangtze River Delta—is currently China’s only national-level high-tech pharmaceutical development zone. It is striving to become China’s leading and globally renowned pharmaceutical hub.
After years of development, the Taizhou National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone for Pharmaceuticals has established a “One Zone, Four Parks” development framework, comprising the High-Tech Park, the Riverside Industrial Park, the Chunlan Industrial Park, and the Private Technology Park. The High-Tech Park covers a planned area of 32 square kilometers and has initially formed industrial clusters in electromechanical engineering, textiles, and new energy. The Riverside Industrial Park covers a planned area of 9.98 square kilometers and is one of China’s five specialized chemical industrial parks, focusing on the development of petrochemical and building materials industries. The Chunlan Industrial Park covers a planned area of 4.42 square kilometers and is home to two major home appliance manufacturers: Chunlan and LG. The Private Technology Park covers a planned area of 10 square kilometers and primarily attracts private capital investment.
