Construction of the Lin Economic and Technological Development Zone began in June 2002,On June 26, 2010, it was approved by the State Council to be upgraded to a national-level economic and technological development zone, with an approved area of 2.58 square kilometers. Over the course of eight years, it achieved a “three-step leap” from a county-level self-managed park to a national-level development zone, becoming one of the province’s latest-established yet fastest-promoted zones. It is the second batch of economic and technological development zones in Heilongjiang Province to be upgraded to the national level, following the Harbin Development Zone.Currently home to 125 enterprises, the zone has innovatively established a “323” industrial park framework.
It has successively been awarded titles including National Demonstration Base for New Industrialization, National Demonstration Park for Circular Economy Transformation, Relocation and Transformation Host Zone for the Northeast Old Industrial Base, Provincial Key County-Level Industrial Park, and Provincial Key Import-Export Processing Zone for Russia.
