A National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, it was upgraded to a National High-Tech Zone in 2010 with the approval of the State Council. Located in Yunhe District, Cangzhou City, it has a planned area of 40 square kilometers. The zone focuses on developing industries such as high-end equipment, new materials, biopharmaceuticals, and next-generation information technology. It is home to leading enterprises including the Sinosteel Group Equipment Research Institute, Sixing Electronics, Cangzhou Sixing Glass, and Hebei Sitong New Metal Materials.The park enjoys convenient transportation links via the Shijiazhuang-Yellow River Expressway and the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway, which features Cangzhou West Station. By 2025, the park aims to achieve a total industrial output value exceeding 110 billion yuan, with the high-end equipment industry cluster alone surpassing 48 billion yuan. The park serves as a base for the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and a demonstration base for strategic emerging industries in Hebei Province. It is equipped with facilities such as the Cangzhou High-Tech Zone Science and Technology Innovation Center, talent apartments, and a Grade III-A hospital.
