The Nanhe Economic Development Zone in Hebei is located in Nanhe County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province. It was established in September 2002 and was designated as a “provincial-level economic development zone” in July 2011. With a planned area of 16.5 square kilometers, it serves as a provincial pilot demonstration zone for circular economy transformation and is one of the nation’s top ten innovation and entrepreneurship demonstration bases.
The development zone’s planned area encompasses the scope approved by the People’s Government of Hebei Province and the areas under the zone’s administrative management. Its spatial structure comprises three major clusters: the West Zone of the Provincial Economic Development Zone, the South Zone of the Provincial Economic Development Zone, and the Pet Industry Park. The development zone primarily focuses on the development of equipment manufacturing, agricultural and food processing, the pet industry, the circular economy, and new building materials.
