Park Overview
On October 29, 2012, the Lingshou Economic Development Zone was officially approved by the provincial government as a “Provincial-Level Economic Development Zone.” The zone has a total planned area of 11.2 square kilometers, divided into an East Zone and a North Zone. The East Zone is located east of the county seat, with a planned area of 5.7 square kilometers, while the North Zone is situated 5 kilometers northeast of the county seat, with a planned area of 5.5 square kilometers. The total developed area of both zones is 2.3186 square kilometers.
The development zone enjoys a distinct geographical advantage, situated 30 kilometers from the provincial capital of Shijiazhuang, 20 kilometers from Shijiazhuang Airport, 240 kilometers from Beijing, and 300 kilometers from Tianjin. Transportation is convenient, with Provincial Highways Jingzan Road and Zhengnan Road running alongside the development zone, an expressway connector passing through the zone, and the Beijing-Kunming Expressway running along the eastern side of the development zone. The Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, and Beijing-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway are all located 20 kilometers from the development zone.
The Development Zone has established multiple functional zones, including light industry, apparel and textiles, machinery manufacturing, high-tech industries, warehousing and logistics, small commodity processing and manufacturing, and building materials. Among these, light industry, textiles, apparel, and machinery manufacturing are the pillar industries of the Hebei Lingshou Economic Development Zone.
The development zone boasts well-developed infrastructure. To date, 800 million yuan has been invested in the construction of road networks, power facilities, telecommunications networks, and wastewater treatment systems. The zone has completed the construction of 1.95 kilometers of Main Street, 2.4 kilometers of Industrial Road, and 2.72 kilometers of South Ring Road, along with the connection to the Beijing-Kunming Expressway. Municipal facilities, including water supply, drainage, and sewage mains as well as communication lines, have been laid alongside these roads;Two 35-kilovolt substations and two 110-kilovolt substations have been constructed; a sewage treatment plant with a daily capacity of 40,000 tons has been built; in addition, infrastructure for internet communications and cable television is fully developed, meeting the “seven utilities and one leveling” requirements; construction of the natural gas pipeline is currently underway. Currently, there are 32 enterprises operating within the zone, including 23 enterprises above designated size, among which 10 have an annual output value exceeding 100 million yuan.
