The Qingyuan Economic Development Zone in Hebei Province serves as the automotive parts supply hub for Baoding’s automotive industry base. As a provincial-level development zone, it has a developed area of 6.55 square kilometers. Through years of development, Baoding’s automotive industry has established a relatively comprehensive industrial system centered on vehicle manufacturing and supported by parts production. The city is home to 93 automotive enterprises of a certain scale, including Great Wall Motor, as well as over 300 parts manufacturers such as Fengfan Co., Ltd. and Lizhong Wheels.
The development zone is organized according to an overall planning framework of “one zone and five parks.” These include the Automotive Parts Industrial Park, the Hebei Green Building Industrial Park, the Commerce and Logistics Industrial Park, the Ancient City Incense Culture Industrial Park, the Zhengdi Happy World Cultural and Creative Industrial Park, and the High-Speed Rail New District. This approach promotes the concentration of projects within the parks and the aggregation of industries within the zone.
