A national-level economic and technological development zone established in 1993 with the approval of the State Council, the park is located in Huaxi District, Guiyang City, with a planned area of 50 square kilometers. The park focuses on developing industries such as big data and electronic information, high-end equipment manufacturing, biopharmaceuticals, and new materials, with the goal of building a “Digital Manufacturing Hub in Southwest China.” It is home to leading enterprises including Aerospace Electronics, the CETC Big Data Research Institute, Taihao Power, and Guizhou Jianxing Pharmaceutical.The Shanghai-Kunming Expressway and Guiyang Metro Line 1 run through the park, which is a 15-minute drive from Longdongbao International Airport. By 2025, the park aims to achieve a total industrial output value exceeding 135 billion yuan, with the big data and electronic information industry surpassing 52 billion yuan and the high-end equipment industry cluster reaching 38 billion yuan. The park serves as a National Digital Home Application Demonstration Industrial Base and a collaborative zone within the Guizhou Shuanglong Aviation Port Economic Zone.Supporting facilities include the Guiyang Comprehensive Bonded Zone, talent apartments, a Grade A tertiary hospital, and international schools. The park benefits from policy support such as that provided to National-level Economic and Technological Development Zones, the Guizhou Big Data Comprehensive Pilot Zone, and tax incentives under the Western Development Strategy.
