The Beihai Industrial Park in Guangxi was established on August 22, 2001. In March 2003, it was approved by the People’s Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region as an autonomous-region-level development zone. In December 2005, it was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission as one of the first batch of provincial-level development zones to pass the review. In January 2010, the Beihai Electronics Industrial Park was included among the 11 key industrial parks in the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone that receive priority support from the autonomous region.Since its inception, the park has adhered to a development philosophy centered on efficiency, supported by projects, linked through investment promotion, grounded in integrity and service, underpinned by high efficiency and integrity, and dedicated to achieving its objectives. It strives to build the Beihai Industrial Park into the most dynamic industrial park in the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone.
