A national-level economic and technological development zone, established in 1992 with the approval of the State Council, is located at the junction of Qinzhou District and Maji District in Tianshui City, Gansu Province. With a planned area of 36 square kilometers, it is one of the first national-level economic and technological development zones in Gansu Province. The zone focuses on developing industries such as equipment manufacturing, electronic information, new materials, and biomedicine, aiming to build the "Northwest Electronics and Electrical Appliances City" and an "Advanced Manufacturing Base."The park is home to leading enterprises such as Huatian Technology, Tianshui Electric Drive Research Institute, Spark Machine Tool, and Huayang Electronics. The Longhai Railway, Lianhuo Expressway, and Tianping Railway traverse the park, giving it a distinct advantage in terms of transportation and location.
