Park Overview
The Qinchuan Park in Lanzhou New Area is one of the three major parks in Lanzhou New Area. Established in June 2017, it is located north of the Yinda East Main Canal and to the northeast of the intersection of the North Expressway and the East Ring Road. With a total planned area of approximately 630 square kilometers, it currently administers 1 town, 1 central community, 24 administrative villages, and 1 residential community. It has a population of about 100,000 and 116,000 mu of arable land.In 2021, the park achieved a regional gross domestic product (GDP) of 7.27 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 35.7%.
The park has consistently adhered to the development strategy of “industrial clustering and industrial strengthening,” focusing on strengthening leading enterprises, filling supply chain gaps, and fostering industrial clusters. Leading industries such as green chemicals, urban mining and surface treatment, new materials and new energy, modern agriculture and agricultural by-product processing, and logistics have flourished. The long-term plan for the green chemical industry covers 150 square kilometers, with 15 square kilometers already developed. The focus is on building four major industrial sectors—extension of the petrochemical industry chain, fine chemicals and specialty chemicals, new chemical materials, and post-processing of materials—as well as integrated upstream and downstream supporting industries.
